Inside the apartment, the elegant foyer leads to a spacious living room with large double windows facing west, making the room quiet sunny.French doors lead from this room to the bedroom. Both rooms are furnished with antiques and the floors are covered with oriental rugs. The bedroom has a full double Victorian cast iron bed.  The living room has a cabinet/entertainment unit with a television, VCR and a stereo system,as well as a desk. The kitchen has a window, full-size refrigerator and stove, a dishwasher and a microwave oven. It also has a toaster, a coffee maker and is fully equipped for cooking.  The bathroom has a window, a small dressing room area with a large closet, and a large antique tub with a shower. There is also an air-conditioning unit and a ceiling fan. All towels and bed linens are provided.

Greenwich Village is one of the most exciting and picturesque areas of Manhattan.  Halfway between the canyons of Wall Street and the Empire State Building, it is home to New York University (0.8 mi/1.3 km) which features many cultural events open to the public.  This part of town has countless restaurants, jazz clubs showcasing world class performers, coffeehouses, and boutiques of every kind.  It is also a short walk in one direction to the galleries of Chelsea, another short walk to the New York Sports Club (0.7 mi/1.1 km) and to Washington Square Park (0.7 mi/1.1 km).

The owner of the apartment has put together a helpful and informative guest resource book, which includes: a welcome page with helpful information about the apartment, a map with the locations of various services in the neighborhood, a map with nearby restaurants recommended by the owners, a collection of menus from some of these restaurants provides the guest with a variety food choices to be delivered to the apartment and a collection of informative pamphlets and maps.
